Bubble Word Jam caught me off guard because the bubbles make it look cute and easy, then the categories start messing with you. A word can look like it belongs in one group, but the full board tells another story. I kept playing because it made me slow down and actually think through each merge.
Game is hard got me because it does not look like much at first. Plain screen, simple shapes, short instructions. Then suddenly I am blowing into my phone like a maniac because a puzzle needs wind or sound or some tiny sensor trick. That ridiculous little moment is exactly why I kept playing.
A quiet evening turned into me obsessing over pixel flow levels. The game gives you a board of colored pixels and a line of pigs that can only clear their matching colors. The ammo number above each pig matters a lot, because leftover ammo means the pig hangs around. It hooked me because every level is short, but not brainless.
